The Black Gold series ups Diamondback's game in the AR‐platform rifle market. Right off the bat, they have completely redesigned all major components ‐ in house ‐ and what has emerged is sure to be a winner. The lower receiver has been completely redesigned and manufactured in‐house at Diamondback's growing facilities in Cocoa Beach, FL. The receiver's lines give the appearance of billet without the cost. The receiver is actually forged 7075 T‐6 aluminum with and integral enhanced trigger guard. The Black Gold's barrel is a 16'' medium barrel with a black nitride finish. It is housed within Diamondback's 15'' M‐LOK (V Rail) handguard with anti‐slip texture pads. The muzzle device is Diamondback's in‐house designed and CNC‐manufactured DBSB IV flash hider (1/2x28 threads). Completing the setup is a Magpul CTR stock paired with a MOE‐K2 grip that provides battery storage.
